How this fee calculator works
Enter a tuition fee, a hostel fee, and any other fee. The calculator adds the three numbers and shows the total to two decimal places. Total = tuition + hostel + other.
A blank box is treated as 0, so you can fill only the fees that apply. Tuition of 150000, hostel of 80000, and other fees of 10000 is 150000 + 80000 + 10000 = 240000.00. Tuition of 120000 with hostel left blank and other fees of 5000 is 125000.00. An empty form shows 0.00.
The result line does not insert commas or a currency sign. 240000.00 is the figure as printed. Amounts with paise stay at two decimal places: 99500.50 + 40000 + 2500.25 = 142000.75, and 75000 + 45000 + 12500.50 = 132500.50.
The total is only those three fields for the period you have in mind. It does not multiply by semesters or years, and it does not add tax unless you include that charge in Other fee. A negative number is added as typed, which lowers the total. Use 0 or a positive fee in each box. The result is -- only when a value is not a finite number.
