Exam Pattern of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University administers several ongoing assessments, such as self-evaluations, term-end exams, and continuous assessments, to assess students’ capabilities.

These tests follow the following patterns:

• Continuous assessments that contain projects, viva, and TA for your self-evaluations. The outcomes of this aid will assess your development over the course of the semester. It carries a 30% weight and is typically held in the middle or second half of the semester.
• The Open University conducts term-end examinations (TEE), which are typically held twice a year, in February and August. It comprises 70% weighted long-form questions and MCQs in an offline pen-and-paper format. 
• To take part in the TEE tests of ODL or OL programs, you must go to the online study center or exam locations.

To advance to the following semester or receive a final degree, you must receive at least 40% on your individual evaluations and term-end exams. Similar to other open universities, the BAOU takes between 45 and 60 days to release the final results.
