NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) assesses and accredits universities based on their teaching quality, placements, curriculum, infrastructure, and student support services.

The NAAC Grade Scale: 

• A++: 3.5 - 4.00 (Outstanding Performance)
• A+: 3.25 - 3.50 ( Excellent)
• A: 3.0 - 3.25 (Very Good)
• B++: 2.76 - 3.00 (Good)
• B+: 2.5 - 2.76 (Above Average)
• B: 2.0 - 2.50 (Average)
• C: 1.5 - 2.00 (Satisfactory; need to improve)
• D: _< 1.5 (Not applicable for accreditation)

All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)

• Mandatory for institutions to provide technical and professional courses (like MBA, MCA, B.Tech).
• Develops guidelines for a university to ensure a standard of infrastructure, academic, and faculty.
• Oversees programs such as Skill Development, Startup Policy, and Internship Portal. 

• WES (World Education Services) evaluates your degree based on the US and Canadian standards, ensuring it is globally valid.
• Necessary for work, immigration, or study abroad.
• It helps identify authorized or fake educational documents.

• Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ranks international universities according to research, employer, and academic reputation.
• Utilizes data metrics and independent surveys, including citations, international outlook, and the faculty-to-student ratio, to rank global universities.
• It influences the higher education choices of students worldwide and increases the credibility of universities.

National Board of Accreditation (NBA)

• NBA-accredited technical programs offered by institutes/universities.
• Encourages the use of outcome-based education (OBE), including students' performance, faculty, curriculum, and industry connections.
• Depending on performance, accreditation is valid for 3 to 6 years.
